One Day at Sea (March 9, 2016)

Reading Length: Grab ‘n’ Go Coffee

Kristin Reporting!

Today was all about choir.

In the morning, I was woken up by Andy and Nikola to let me know that they had found the knitter who said she would make Erich's beard. I took Erich down there and met the lady-- her name was Diana. I let Diana borrow Erich for the day.

I was surprised to get a call from Diana only 2 hours later-- she was finished! Erich's beard is awesome!

The final choir rehearsal was at noon. After the rehearsal we had just enough time to fit in lunch (or in our case, breakfast!). We were happy to find that the pancake station was back! So we enjoyed some pancakes with our syrup supply.

I had to gobble it down quickly so that I could get to the theater at 1:30pm to be placed for the choir show. That only took ten minutes. Show time was at 3pm. I filled up the time between with apartment work and getting all dressed up for the show (my usual formal look).

The show was at 3pm and I think it went well. I bought 2 DVDs– one for me, and one for my Dad. I'm going to give one to Jonathan tomorrow to bring back to Germany. I'll watch the DVD later to see how the show was. We got a photo in the lobby afterwards, and I have a copy of that as well– it was part of the DVD package.

Andy and Nikola told me that they wanted to see Erich's finished beard before disembarking tomorrow. I had left them a message earlier in the day asking for a time we could meet. I had said that I would bring him to dinner but it would be awkward since there isn't a chair for him and I wouldn't want him on my lap or the floor. Back in the room, I got a message that had arranged a chair for Erich at dinner! How funny!

So Erich came to dinner with us and had his very own (baby) chair! We had a good time laughing about many things.

After dinner we went to the gym, and relaxed in the jacuzzi.

Tomorrow is Hong Kong and seeing Jonathan! Yay!
