Kristin Reporting!
I didn’t
write an official break down of this five day stretch at sea. I’m putting this
together from notes on the future date of March 6, 2016—so I’m as interested as
you to see what we did on these five days at sea.
Here’s a brief
summary of our 5 days at sea:
·
We began
to put Big Bubba to good use—the picture promised in the Hawaii post is
attached to this post! (We are still loving our Bubba as of 3/6/2016!)
·
Deeply
philosophical sibling discourse occurred on the 27th – “D and
I soaked for over an hour in the Jacuzzi. We talked about the Star Wars movie,
the Star Wars series, and the new Star Treks and the old Star Treks.”
·
K worked
on a blog entry for Hawaii on the 28th — it would be the last time
she would work on the blog for over a month! (Other than writing notes and
descriptions of each day which she sends diligently via email every day to
Scott.)
·
The
sibling duo continued to go to the gym every day.
·
Doom 3
Coop was finally beaten!
·
On
January 29th, D & K went to the equator ceremony starring
King Neptune who granted the Pacific Princess safe passage across the equator.
The show was funny with horrible costuming (on purpose—it was a skit that
Karneval members would enjoy!)
·
D&K dunked themselves following the official
tradition of seafarers who “crossed the line” for the very first time—and then
they did it again!
·
On January 30th, the excitement of
the day was cutting Davin’s hair in the teeny tiny bathroom!
·
D & K started watching Babylon 5. (Last time
we watched the series was when Kristin was in the 8th grade.)
·
Kristin “basically finished” her Pantheon of
Gods.
·
January 30th was also the day we
witnessed the strangest sea-scape of all time. It was like being on an alien
planet! A glassy sea with cotton-candy clouds!
·
Kristin managed to pay everyone’s bills using
the ship internet.
·
On January 31st, Kristin went to see
the passenger Hula and Ukelele show. It was pretty awful, especially the hula
dancing. But Kristin went and did the audience participation Hula dance and
found it extremely difficult, so even though the passengers were completely
unimpressive, they has obviously learned something!
·
Amazing fruit art was seen at the special Sunday
Brunch!
·
Davin did a lot of things on his computer every
day!
He made a lot of progress on his world’s map,
and worked on his story.
That about sums it
up!
Tomorrow’s adventure
will be exploring Pago Pago, American Samoa!
Til Next Time!
Davin and Kristin,
Sibling Globetrotters
